Additional West Point Officers Have Also Been Placed On Paid Administrative Leave Following Incident
A disturbing video is currently circulating around social media regarding a West Point Police officer who is seen what appears to be inappropriate language as well as destroying a home security camera at a residence, and now Gator Media has learned that more officers have been involved. Just before 8 pm EST. Monday evening, the West Point Police addressed the situation in a press release to Gator Media
"We have been made aware of a video circulating on social media involving one of our officers. Ofc. Bramblett has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation", said West Point Police Public Information Officer C.O. Thomas.
On Tuesday, Thomas issued the following release regarding the situation:
In addition to a prior media release, additional officers have also been placed on paid administrative leave. The West Point Police Department is taking this matter very seriously and has since turned the investigation over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (G.B.I.).
