LAFAYETTE- On Saturday, the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the 3rd annual Rrockingfest from the Courthouse Square in LaFayette as people from all over the area attended, and one family even drove from Birmingham, Alabama to take in the holiday festivities. The Burton family which includes Matt, Angela, Caselle, Mattox, and Teagan all enjoyed themselves.
This year's RockinFestg provided the perfect holiday atmosphere with the World’s Largest Rocking Horse Ice-Skating Rink, Snow-Zilla Jr., Everest Climb-N-Slide, inflatables, a live DJ playing those Christmas classics, and of course ole jolly Santa along with his friends.
"It was a great day to be in the city of LaFayette. We had a wonderful crowd out here, and got a head start on their Christmas shopping", said Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Director Carrie Wood.
