Brenda Joyce Pinkard Denton Obituary

Brenda Joyce Pinkard Denton went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, Alabama.
Ms. Denton was born on October 22, 1944, in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Thomas Malone and Georgia Bell Messer Pinkard. She was the 11th of 12 children. She was also preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.
Ms. Denton received her diploma from Chambers County High School. She attended CVCC, West Georgia Technical College, and Southern Union.
She worked for West Point Pepperell Lanier Mill for over 26 years, first as a weaver then as a payroll clerk.
Ms. Denton loved her family, her job, and her job family. She loved to cook for family and friends and was an avid University of Alabama football fan.
Ms. Denton was a member of the Lanett Church of the Nazarene. and is survived by her daughter, Lori Ann Denton (Terry) Cordell; son, Johnny Delbert (Keri) Denton, grandchildren, Ryan Brown, Alex (Abby) Brown, Jackson Denton, Ben (Lindsey) Key, Ryan (Melissa) Cordell, Cole Cordell, Alyssa Cordell, Haley Cordell; great-grandchildren, Kaelynn, Rayleigh, Emma Grace and Riley Cordell, Marleigh Anna Brown, Addelyn Brown, Ryland Key, Piper Key; sister, Jenelle Powell; numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in her memory to the Lanett Church of the Nazarene.
