Fairfax- On Saturday, the Fairfax United Methodist Church Chicks hosted their annual Christmas Bazaar & Bake Sale. Vendors were on hand with Christmas Decor, make-up, embroidered shirts, boutique, and other vendors as well as holiday sweet treats much to the delight of customers. The ladies have been hosting the popular holiday event for over fifteen years.
"We raised a little over 2,500 dollars. This is money that goes directly back into the community and goes to support various church missions", said Kristin Nelson with the group.
The Fairfax United Methodist Church Chicks Christmas Bazaar & Bake Sale has easily become one of the more popular events throughout Chambers County, and the money generated helps different individuals and groups.
The combination of products, outreach missionary it supports, and of, course those holiday cakes have the community at a standing ovation.
