Farm Stores Coming To Valley; City Of Valley Approves Tax Abatement For JC Colley New Business

Story by Gator Kincaid
VALLEY- On Monday, Valley Mayor Leonard Riley, and Council unanimously approved a 5-year Sales Tax Abatement for JC Colley Group which will be opening up a local Farm Stores drive-thru - convenience grocery store at 4000 20th Avenue in Valley. Colley is looking to bring the popular Farm Store, which provides a unique neighborhood experience. A combination of a grocery store, bakery, and restaurant, where customers receive the freshest products most conveniently: the equivalent of a drive-thru supermarket express lane.
Farm Stores offer all your favorite grocery brands in addition to products you won’t find anywhere else, and we bring it all directly to your car! Farm Stores has been a convenient last stop on the way home for families for nearly 60 years.
"This is a 30 % tax abatement to be paid every quarter and has to have at least a million-dollar investment and has to pay a minimum of fifteen dollars an hour", said Riley
Colley tells the Chambers Ledger that he will be employing an estimated seven people, and is excited to bring Farm Stores to Valley.
