Harmony Funeral Home & Memorial Park Host Grand Opening

LANETT- On Saturday, Harmony Funeral Home & Memorial Park formally known as Resthaven Funeral Home held their grand opening in the newly renovated location on Highway 50. Owners and staff made their way down for the grand opening that was catered by J.B'S Butthouse in Lanett. Of those in attendance for the special day was Lanett Mayor Jaamoe Heard who was extremely impressed by the funeral home that that community has longed for.

The funeral home that was once viewed as an eyesore is now a beautiful site that the community can be proud of. Something the owners of Harmony sought to do.
"We just want this community to have a funeral home and cemetery that they can be proud of. We have used all the local people we could for the renovation. We just felt that the community deserved that. We know that community was hurt, and we felt that, and we are eager to help restore the confidence. This community deserves this", said co-owner Kenneth Douglas to Gator Media.

Harmony Funeral Home & Memorial Park has invested $500,000 in the funeral home renovations, and today has the look, and feel of a funeral home & cemetery we can proud of.
What was once on the verge of collapse is now a state of that art funeral home and cemetery. That's Harmony Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 6415 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Lanett, where you can follow them on social media, and online at harmonyfhmp.com. You can also call (334) 630-1007.
