LANETT- On Saturday, thirteen teams competed in the inaugural Bobby G. Elmore Golf Tournament in support of its foundation the Point University Golf Club.
That Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by Jared Elmore, son of the late Bob Elmore, whose generosity was well known.
"Thanks to the teams and sponsors, we were able to do pretty well", said Elmore.
Lotts Landing was the winning team who shot an unbelievable 24 under.
The Bobby G. Elmore Foundation focuses on helping those in need. Elmore is continuing his father's legacy, one of helping, and thanks to the golf tournament that legacy is alive and well.
