Jody Earles Obituary



Mr. Jody Earles of Valley passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4th at home. He was born May 20th, 1944 in Langdale, AL to the late Alonza Jackson Earles and Pauline Barton Earles.


Mr. Earles is survived by his wife of 51 years, Emile Brown Earles; sister, Connie (Stanley) Tucker of Charlotte, N.C.; cousins, Sonia Naum and Penny Crowder and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.


Mr. Earles loved hunting, fishing, and Alabama football. He was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with Emile and his friends. He had two dogs, Max and Nipper who loved him and stayed by his side daily. Everyone who knew Jody loved him. He was always positive and loved his family and friends.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Graveside services will follow in Fairfax Cemetery. The Reverends Randall Hamer and Mark McGee will officiate. No visitation is planned.
