Lanett Senior Center Host New Year Prayer

LANETT- On Tuesday the Lanett Senior Center hosted a New Year prayer program on health, peace, and joy as the Lanett seniors looked on as well as participated.

“We are committed to prioritizing our beautiful seniors. This is a proactive invective set forward by Mayor Jamie Heard and Council”, said Lanett Senior Center Director Sandra Thornton.

Following the program, the seniors posed for pictures with a special happy new year backdrop, and coming up in February the Lanett Senior Center will host a special Valentine’s dance.
