Lanett- On Monday, June 13th, Lanett senior citizens made their way to the Lanett Senior Center for a free tablet giveaway along with 25 gigs of wifi data courtesy of T-Mobile.
'We had over 100 show up today, and although we were only issued sixty tablets, we feel confident that we will have another tablet giveaway for our seniors", said Lanett Senior Center Director Sandra Thornton.
On Tuesday, the seniors made their way to Lanett City Hall for orientation on the tablets as well as more programs from East Alabama Regional Planning & Development Commission.
