Mr. Larry “Bulldog” Haynes, age 66, of Valley, Alabama passed away at the Piedmont Midtown Medical Center on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
Larry was born in Opelika, Alabama on March 19, 1956, to the late Robert Denny Haynes and Gladys Tidwell Haynes. He was also preceded in death by siblings Kenny Haynes and Gwen Smith, and a brother-in-law, Roger Boyd.
Larry absolutely loved and was fascinated with the iconic 57 Chevy. He also enjoyed video games, crafts, and fishing. He held a special place in his heart for all animals, especially his furbabies.
He is survived by his son, Michael Cook (Asheley Cook); grandchildren, Jakob Cook, and Gypsy Cook; siblings, Sheila Boyd, Debbie East (Gary), Sonya DeNigris, Chris Haynes (April); sister-in-law, Linda Haynes; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 2:30 P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel with interment following in Harmony cemetery. His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. EDT until 8:00 P.M. EDT.
