LANETT- On Monday, the Life South Blood Mobile was at Kroger in Lanett as the area is in emergency need of blood for banks throughout the community.
"We are out here collecting blood for all types, especially O Negative we are in a crisis for. Today we are giving away 20 dollar gift cards as an incentive for those who donate", said Life South Team Lead Desirae Allred.
The Life South Blood Mobile was at Valley Walmart on Wednesday, and coming up on Saturday will be at the old Lanett Mill Site for a special event as they collaborate with a local Toy Drive from 9 am - 2 pm EST.
"We will be partnering with a toy drive for kids, and for those that give blood we will be giving away gift cards, and door prizes", added Allred.
