Light up the Greater Valley Area... As you drive through the community you may notice store windows decorated in holiday fashion. That's because right now businesses are showing off their holiday flare by competing in the window decorating contest hosted by the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.
"We just want to show our holiday spirit, and this is a great way to do just that. We have businesses from Valley to LaFayette that is competing. It's just a fun way to show community pride", said Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Carrie Wood.
The GVACC will announce the winners in the following categories on December 19th in the following categories:
Best Overall
Most Whimsical
Most Creative
Businesses must have their windows completed by December 5th. All participants must contact the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce by December 2nd to be entered into the contest.
