Johnson-Brown announces the passing of Vicky Brown-Jones, 68, of Valley, AL was born in Chambers County on February 5, 1954. She passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022.
Vicky went into the textile industry soon after high school and remained there until it closed. She then went to work at Lanier Hospital where she became the Environmental Manager. She remained there until she retired in 2017.
Vicky was a sweet, mild-mannered person that everyone loved. She will be missed by all that knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Jeff Jones Funeral Home announces the passing of Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Andrews Allen 99, of Ridge Grove, Alabama, who died Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the East Alabama Medical Center.
Mrs. Allen was born in Chambers County, Alabama September 21, 1922, to the late James Leonard Andrews and the late Bertha Henderson Andrews. She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church in Camp Hill, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11 AM at the County Line Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday at County Line Baptist Church 5232 Co Rd 51 Camp Hill, Alabama 36850 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
She is survived by 5 Children Dianne (Jimmy) Lee of Ridge Grove, Al., Rev. Jimmy (Martha) Allen of Ridge Grove, Al., Elaine (Wayne) Bartlett of Hamilton, Al., Johnny (Sue) Allen of Ridge Grove, Al., Gerald (Kay) Allen of LaFayette, Al., 13 grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband J. Palmer Allen, granddaughter Tanya Allen McAllister, and 5 siblings.
