Johnson-Brown announces the passing of Ms. Sadie Louise Yarbrough, 80 a resident of Valley, AL passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the LaFayette Nursing Home. Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Osanippa Baptist Church with Rev. David Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Yarbrough was born in Langdale, AL on April 24, 1941. She loved to write poetry. She also enjoyed writing music and singing. She loved cooking for her family and was a Christian by Faith.
Survivors include her children, Allison Cole & Andy Hammock (Caren); grandchildren, Luke Holley (Michelle), Laprell Sprayberry, Jeremy Sprayberry, Tara Moon, Bryson Hammock & Spencer Hammock; great-grandchildren, Autumn Holley, Hayden Holley, Icis Dudley, Rhiannon Dudley, Zoey Moon & Ziya Moon; brothers, Eugene Yarbrough (Faye), Doyle Yarbrough (Jennie), & Wayne Yarbrough (Barbara); a sister, Janette Tynes and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin & Maggie Yarbrough, her sister, Pauline Beller, and her brother, Lewis Yarbrough.
