Johnson Brown announces the passing of the following:


Steven Baldwin, age 71 of Bellevue, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. Steve was born April 15, 1951, in Everett, PA, the son of the late Raymond, Sr. and, Dorothy (Barkey) Baldwin.


Steve proudly served in the United States Army from 1968 – 1971, during the Vietnam War. During his service, he earned many military commendations including National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter Badge, Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal with Two Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960 Device, and a Bronze Star Medal for Valor.


Steve worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. In his leisure time he enjoyed bass fishing and trapping.


Steve is survived by his wife, Judy (Aldrich) Baldwin of Bellevue, whom he married April 26, 2002, in Lafayette, AL; daughter, Jennifer “Nicki” (Brad) Siggers of Valley, AL; grandchildren: Michael Davis, Jr., and, Logan Davis; brothers: Ray (Becky) Baldwin, Jr. of Norwalk, OH, and Bob Baldwin of Monroeville, OH; sisters: Peggy (Richard) Todd of North Port, FL, and Sue (Dew) Hardwick of North Port, FL; and several nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (Walls) Baldwin.

Graveside services and military honors for Steve were held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Johnson Memorial Gardens in Valley, AL.

Mr. Darryl Jerome McClellan, age 60, of Valley, Alabama passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18th, 2022.


Darryl was born on October 22nd, 1961 in Langdale, Alabama to the late David and Sybil McClellan. He was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, Alabama football, and Wicked Tuna.


Darryl is survived by his siblings, Randall McClellan (Laura), Calvin McClellan (Kathy), and Kayla Fawley; a special niece, Baeda McClellan, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Pamela McClellan.


Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22nd, 2022 at 3:00 PM (EST) at Sunset Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Joshua Shelton will officiate. Darryl’s family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the church.
