and now Obituary's brought to you by Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home, providing dignified service since 1900.

Johnson Brown Funeral Home announces the passing of Tina Landreth, age 57, who was taken from us too soon on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Tina was born on December 15th, 1964 to her mother, Virginia Hester, and her father, Haywood Wade.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Landreth, her daughter, Dana Walker, and Butterbean; three siblings, Wayne Whaley, Shelia Hill, and April Haynes; four nieces, Meme Whaley, Robin Truitt, Shay Rutledge, Hunter Welcher; two nephews, Jeffery Whaley-East, Ayce Haynes; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and her best friend’s June Henderson and Tammy Henderson.

Tina loved hard. Her family was her whole world. Some of her favorite memories were made by drinking coffee and talking with friends and family. She prayed for us all every night and was so proud.

A few days before she passed, she read this poem that now seems very fitting:

When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not here to see… If the sun should rise and find your eyes filled with tears for me, I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today… While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say… I know how much you love me, as much as I love you… and each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me, too. But when tomorrow comes starts without me please try to understand… that Jesus came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven far above… And that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love. So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we're far apart… For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart.
