Johnson-Brown announces the passing of Mrs. Charlotte Roe, age 76, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 in Auburn, Alabama.
She was born on April 8th, 1945 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Charlotte was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her and her husband’s animals. She loved all and was loved by all.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Thomas Shirley; son, Randy Tilley; daughter, Catherine Ledford; one niece and one nephew; sister-in-law, Cathy Roe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Aubrey Roe and Hillian Pear Roe; brothers, Donald Aubrey Roe and Marcus Lee Roe.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at 11:00 AM (EST) at Beulah Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Mitchell Smith will officiate. Charlotte’s family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
In lieu of flowers, Charlotte’s family asks that donations be made to the Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 5500 Lee Road 270, Valley, AL, 36854, in her memory.

Bluffton Funeral Services announces the passing of Mr. Willis Randall Ball, 83, of Lanett, who passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at his home.
Mr. Ball is survived by his wife Linda of 18 years, three children Gina (Jody) Bays, Stephen (Trina) Green, and April Beyer; 9 grandchildren Jennifer, William and Catherine Bays, Maegan Green, Grant, and Kaylee Beyer, Ashley (Cody) Martin, Krystal, and Maria; numerous great-grandchildren, and one sister Zara Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Effie Ball, and his Uncle Donald and Aunt Cuteen Grate.
Mr. Ball was born on August 20, 1938, and lived in several states including Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Minnesota, and North Carolina during his lifetime career.
He was an American veteran having served during the Vietnam Era in the United States Army Reserves for several years. Then retired to Lanett Alabama. He was a member of the West Point Lions Cub, and was a faithful member of the West Point First United Methodist Church, having served as a Sunday school teacher, communion steward, usher, and volunteer for the soup kitchen, and CIA committee.
Funeral services will be held at West Point First United Methodist on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11 A.M Est, with Rev. Eric Mays officiating. Bluffton Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
