Price To Run As An Independent In Bid To Become Chambers County Coroner

Ricky Price is an Independent Candidate and will be on the ballot for Chambers County. for Coroner. Price is challenging Democratic incumbent Jeff Jones on Tuesday in the General Election.

Price spoke to the Chambers Ledger ahead of the election , and says he is running as an Independent to represent all Chambers County Citizens equally, regardless of Political Party

"After dealing with death cases and decedents' families since 1976, with the past 20 years of my career investigating death cases all over the Southeast United States and Mexico, I feel I am very qualified to be the people's Coroner. I have served as an EMT, Police Officer, Police Investigator, Part-time Funeral Home Employee, and Chief Investigator of a Law Firm investigating wrongful death cases, during my career.

I will treat all decedents with dignity. All of the families will be treated with compassion and respect as if they were my own family.

Details of descendants and their condition will be of the strictest confidentiality and will not be talked about in public. United States HIPPA laws dealing with confidentiality will be strictly adhered to.

My promise to you is to have a coroner's office that will not be complacent but will treat the office and families in a professional manner, and to treat the office and families that Chambers County deserves", said Price.

"This is a very important election, and I would appreciate your vote on November 8th. For me to run for Chambers County Coroner, it took many prayers, I also had to have the backing of my family. I am so thankful for my family", added Price.

Polls will open at 7 am and close at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 8th.
