AUBURN- Last weekend VHS Swim Team member, Maggie Rennie finished 8th in the 100 Yard Butterfly in the AHSAA Swimming & Diving State Championships at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center at Auburn University. Rennie was the 8th fastest in the pool for 100 Yard Butterfly
Rennie, placed 4th in the AHSSA Sectionals with a time of 26.40 ( a personal record) and 2nd in the 100 Fly before the AHSAA Swimming & Diving State Championships.
Rennie's teammate Anslee Reaves also had a good day in the pool. Reaves finished 8th overall in the AHSAA State Competition,
Reaves, who is the current Sectional Champion in the 200 IM set a personal record with a time of 2:35.15 prior tobefore the AHSAA Swimming & Diving State Championships
