Rodney Dale Hubbard Obituary



Rodney Dale Hubbard, 55, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.


Mr. Hubbard was born in Heard County, Georgia on May 9, 1966.


He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Eugene Hubbard, daughter, Joni Hubbard, son, Justin Hubbard, and siblings, Johnny Hubbard and Michael Leon Hubbard.

Rodney was employed with the West Point Foundry for several years.


He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed mowing his lawn and working in the yard. He was an avid University of Alabama football fan.

He loved spending time with his children and his grandchildren.


Rodney is survived by his children, Jacklene (Mark) McManus, Valley, John (Ashley) Hubbard; grandchildren, Britley, Brantley, Briley McManus, Kason Coker, Koy Neiger; siblings, Telina Davidson, South Carolina, Eustacia (Richard) McDonald, Lanett, Cecil (Deborah) Hubbard, South Carolina, Wayne Hubbard, Florida; his former spouse, Angelia Marie Crowder; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Hillcrest Cemetery. His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT. The Reverend Mark Messer officiating.
