Timothy Jacob ‘Tim’ Petrocco Obituary

Timothy Jacob ‘Tim’ Petrocco died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 18, 2022. He was 19 years old.

Tim was born on January 20, 2003, in Warren, Ohio. Tim, his sister (Faith), and his mother (Barbara Kempf) moved to Valley, Alabama where he grew up and lived. Tim loved and attended Rocky Mount Baptist Church.

Tim was well known to all who knew him for his big heart, sense of humor, and skillfulness. He enjoyed figuring out how things worked so he could learn how to fix them when they broke. He fixed any and everything. Tim could talk for hours about diesel and small engines. Tim was very funny. He always had a smile. He took pleasure in making people laugh. He was kind, hardworking, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Because of his big heart, he was very forgiving. He did not hold any grudges against any past hurts.

Since Tim was a kid at heart himself, he was amazing with children. He often told stories of times spent with his nieces and his friends’ children. Tim looked forward to spending time with family and friends. Barb says that Tim was the best son ever.

His favorite pastime was riding and working on ATVs. Tim would haul his four-wheeler behind his Honda to work. Tim was much more than a handyman at NewMor River Preserve. Tim called himself ‘The Park Ranger.’ At work, you could find Tim on his ATV kicking up dust, doing donuts, and jumping dirt mounds during lunchtime.

While Tim was blessed with lots of people who loved him, he cherished his dogs. He joked about Fuzzy Wussy, Tater, Stella, Lily, and Rosie being his real best friends.

Tim was definitely loved by all who knew him. He will truly be missed.

Tim was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, lots of aunts and uncles, and Bender and King (his beloved pets). Tim is survived by his mother, Barb Kempf; sister, Faith Kelleston; Aunt, Sue Castleberry; Brothers, Chris Jennings (Hayle Yarbrough) and Mark Jennings; Nieces, Kylee, Savannah, and Nirvana; Cousins, Paul Henry, Mary, Jessica, and Tiffany; His closest friends, Wyatt, Dustin, Logan, Bradon, Justin, Bobby, Will, Steven, Tiffany, Mackenzie, Richard Newton, and his family also many-many more.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 6 pm et, Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Pastor Ben Hewitt will officiate.
