Mr. Tony C. Jones, 60 of Lanett, AL passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 12 Noon until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 12 Noon CST at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Life Center in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael Stiggers, Pastor, Rev. Dr. Melvin Owens, Eulogist, Rev. Gary L. Dixon, Officiating. Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
Mr. Jones leaves precious memories to forever be cherished by his daughters, Latasha Jones of Lanett, Al, and Nichole Whitlow Paige of Roanoke, AL, three brothers, John Burton, Emmanuel Jones, and Rev. Douglas (Jeanette) Jones, Sr., two sisters, Sylvia A. Allen, and Tammy (Darryl) Seroyer, all of LaFayette, AL, five grandchildren: Tavian Paige, Astrianna Denny, Tehya Whitlow, Kendesus Jones and Katia Paige, six great-grandchildren: Tristen Whitlow, Ajah Winston, Jace Whitlow, Sevynn Miles, Armari Whitlow and, Arius Whitlow, godchildren: Koretta (Kelvin) Zachery, Jakerianna Bailey and, Kentavious Holloway, close friends who were like brothers, Franklin McCurdy, George Finley and, Robert B. Holloway, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and, friends.
