VALLEY- On Monday, June 13th at the Valley Council meeting from Valley City hall the council unanimously passed the amending of the current Animal Control Ordinance regarding Tethering.
Tethering is the restraining of an animal by trying to any object or structure, including without limitation, a house, tree, fence, post, garage, weight, or shed, by any means, including without limitation rope, cord, leash, chain, or running line, but shall not include, a leash used to walk the animal.
The city of Valley has made combatting animal cruelty a priority, and this is an example of just that.
