Valley High Cheerleaders To Compete In National High School Cheerleading Championship

Nationals bound... Last week the Valley Rams Cheerleaders were selected to compete in the National High School Cheerleading Championship to be held at Walt Disney World Resort Feb 10th-12th in Orlando, FL, and televised on ESPN Wide World of Sports.

"I am beyond proud of this amazing squad. With only 1 week of becoming a team and 5 practices, we are walking away with 3rd place in our division, & a bid to UCA Nationals. This is such an amazing group of girls and I am so thankful to be able to help lead them along with Coach April Haney, and compete on the mat with them", said Valley Cheerleading Coach Chelsea Bunn.

The protocol for selection is based on a scoring metric of 85-100, and the Valley High Cheerleaders scored an impressive 90.4.

The Next competition for the Valley Rams Cheerleaders is on December 3rd at the Smoky Mountain Championship in Sevierville, TN.
