West Point Mayor Steve Tramell & Local Restaurants To Provide 200 Thanksgiving Meals To Community




WEST POINT- Giving thanks, giving back... On Thursday, West Point Mayor Steve Tramell and local restaurants in West Point will provide Thanksgiving meals to the area on the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and 10th Avenue in West Point for the 6th annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

An assembly line of volunteers will be set up under a climate-controlled Jackson Services tent as the community can either come up or drive-thru.



"When we first started, we were doing 500 meals, but we had so many plates left over so we dropped it back to 200 plates. We just don't want any plates to go to waste", said Tramell.


The 6th annual Thanksgiving Dinner is made possible by the following restaurants, and businesses which in include the following:


Sip Cafe

Coach's

Pokey's

Johnny's Pizza

Rogers BBQ.

Chic Delite

M.W. Lee Mortuary




"This is not just for West Point, but for everybody in the Greater Valley Area Community", added Tramell.

“It’s for everybody who needs a meal,” added Tramell.


the 6th annual Thanksgiving Dinner will kick off Thursday on the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and 10th Avenue in West Point.
