West Point Police Asking For Publics Help Regarding Armed Robbery

West Point Police issued the following press release regarding an armed robbery from over the weekend:

"On April 29, 2022 at approximately 9:38 p.m. officers responded to 210 E 10th Street (Roger’s BBQ), in reference to an armed robbery. During the armed robbery, three employees were held at gun point inside of the restaurant. The suspect took from the victims two cell phones, which were found on scene after the suspect left, and cash from the cash registers as well as the manager’s office.

The suspect is identified as a male, unknown race, wearing a mask, gloves and sunglasses. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot from Roger’s out of the back door going towards E 9th Street", said West Point Public Information Police Officer Cedarious Thomas in a release to local media.
