According to the Chambers EMA, a wind advisory is in effect for Chambers County, AL. on Thursday from 6 am CST through Midnight on Friday with sustained winds that could reach 10 – 25 mph and potential Wind Gusts 30 – 35 (up to 45)
These are non-thunderstorm gusts – both sustained and gusts within the storm(s) may be much higher. as well as 1 – 1.5 inches of rain.
"As of now we are in the marginal risk area, however, this could change as the parameters continue to set up for this event", said Chambers EMA Deputy Director Kathy Hornsby in a press release.
